My Garden Set-up: Feeders

My garden set-up

Gardman COMPLETE Feeding Station (image from amazon.co.uk)
Only part not used is the fatball hanger, as it requires mesh-nets which are bad for birds
Instant attraction for birds of all kinds. Mesh tray is popular with almost every bird - robins, long tailed tits, coal tits, great tits, blue tits, starlings, greenfinches, even blackbirds try and get on there !

Nut feeder: Many birds enjoy this feeder, even robins.
2x Tube feeders: As popular as nut feeders, can basically hold anything apart from nyjer.
Square feeder: Perfect size for those square cakes you can buy, also good for scraps.
Mesh Tray: Most popular feeder in whole garden. Visited by EVERYTHING depending on food. Is also good for holding all foods apart from nyjer
Water bowl: Water is very important in any feeding set up, especially in winter. A decent depth for drinking but not for bathing. Make sure to clean and fill regularly for bird hygiene.

Clingers Only Feeder (image from www.rspb.org.uk)Designed to stop larger birds preventing smaller birds from food.
Attracts great tits, blue tits, goldfinches, greenfinches and chaffinches. Quality product and worth the money.
Fat ball feeder (image from www.amazon.co.uk)There are larger ones, but the average feeder can hold around four fat balls.
Visitors to this feeder include the highly-regarded Long tailed tits and Greater Spotted Woodpeckers, though many other birds enjoy them. Especially for use in colder weather, summer not advisable

Chapelwood Seed Feeder 4 ports (image from www.amazon.co.uk)
This is a slightly better quality version than mine, but regardless any feeder like this is always a success.
Popular visitors to mine are greenfinches, great tits, and goldfinches, but many others also have a go. The perches allow birds to sit comfortably and have not had a squirrel on it so far.
